Reports to: Suppliers Quality Manager

Location: Afek Industrial Park, Rosh Ha’ayin

Supplier quality engineer is responsible to ensure Kornit suppliers and contract manufacturers quality process are compliant with the end customer’s needs.

This includes onsite supply chain company verification (local and abroad).

Delivering all aspects of the Supplier Operations Quality Assurance function on a continuous basis, and ensure that suppliers continue to develop and implement quality best practice for defect prevention and reduction.

What will you do?

  • Support new complex products launches to ensure contract manufacturers are capable of delivering to the required quality standards
  • Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria
  • Review ECO documentation and inspection results across multiple products and areas.
  • Support Purchasing department with supplier or products approval process considering manufacturing/technology capabilities risks
  • Monitor and report key suppliers product quality and performance indexes (KPIs)
  • Manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier quality issues and end customer complaint
  • Verify suppliers ongoing continuous improvement activity such as FPY tracking, Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, System Analysis and FMEA
  • Carry out supplier validation audits, with supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP).
  • Lead ongoing quality audits and sources inspections for suppliers 

What do you need?

  •  A relevant engineering degree is preferred (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering) , also applicable related manufacturing field
  •  3 years of experience in supply chain operations as a supplier quality role in regulated technology industries.
  • 3 years of conducting quality audits, writing audit reports, and verifying the effectiveness of the corrective actions
  • Proven experience in a “low volume high mix” manufacturing environment, preferably industrial printing industries
  •  Experience of dealing with local and abroad turn key suppliers
  • Ability to read/understand technical drawings (AutoCAD, 3D models) including multitasking and manage multiple projects
  •  Hebrew and English interpersonal exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience with several Quality Management Systems such as ISO9100 /ISO 13485 /AS9100
