Reports to: Development Director Location: Manchester, United Kingdom We are a cutting-edge global company that develops, manufactures, and markets state-of-the-art printing solutions for the textile, garment & apparel decorating industries. Reporting to the Development Director, the Software Developer will work across many different facets of our SaaS platform, ranging from front end user interface development to creating integrations with external third-party systems. You will work directly with the Software Technology Director to help deliver the long-term technology strategy. You will be joining an established & growing team, delivering technical quality. What will you do? Peer code reviews and mentoring but not management Implementing new functionality for our SaaS DevOps and general maintenance of our SaaS infrastructure Our SaaS platform processes on average 50,000 transactions a day during off-peak periods, and we intend to increase that significantly in the coming year. Ensuring that components are scalable will therefore form an important part of the role. What should you have?5+ years experience Minimum 2:1 in a related computer science / software engineering degree (advantageous)Comfortable with AWS or similar Expert with PHP8+ Proficient with MySQL or similar Comfortable using desktop Linux and Linux server management Frontend technologies (HTML, JS, CSS, etc.) Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., docker or similar) is essential CI/CD pipelines would be advantageous
