Reports to: Head of Global Technical Support   

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom 

What will you do? 

  • Coordinate and execute solution testing to ensure customer requirements are met and solutions work as expected 
  • Document new solutions and complete Service Transition activities to enable the Platform Support Team to provide ongoing operational support for these services 
  • Hold regular meetings with clients to ensure they are kept up to date with progress on their projects and requests  
  • Manage and resolve client queries and escalations relating to ongoing projects and tasks 
  • Investigate and troubleshoot software issues within a complex application environment 
  • Complete set up and configuration tasks within the software 
  • Take ownership of customer projects, delivering solutions according to agreed timelines and ensuring efficient communication 
  • Investigate and troubleshoot software issues within a complex application environment 
  • Draw on knowledge of our platforms, systems and workflow processes to deliver efficient solutions to meet our customer’s needs 
  • Record and track progress on relevant Project Manager software 
  • Liaise with internal colleagues regularly to ensure tasks are being progressed according to agreed timelines 
  • Capture and clearly articulate requirements for changes to existing customer implementations; working with the Solutions Architects and Development teams to develop solutions specifications.

  • Ability to manage priorities and multiple workloads 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills 
  • Willingness to be flexible, working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment 
  • Experience working with application integration technologies e.g., API, XML, SFTP, Data Transformation 
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail clearly 
  • Previous experience in a similar role managing projects/tasks is preferred 
  • Ability to understand comprehensive software applications/systems involving multiple components and custom integrations 
  • Experience in analysing and diagnosing technical software problems 
  • The ability to quickly understand technical issues and communicate them to technical teams as well as to customers in a non-technical language
