  Reports to: EVP R&D

Location: Rosh Ha’Ayin

The Technical Product Director is a key leadership role responsible for the development of innovative vision and data solutions for Kornit textile printers. You will have full responsibility for leading a team of technical product leaders, algorithm developer, and UI/UX designers, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers. Reporting to EVP R&D and part of the R&D management staff. 

What will you do?

  • Develop a deep understanding of the textile printing industry and the technological needs of our customers, use this knowledge to provide better solution for customer needs. 
  • Plan the development process through different milestones and decision points 
  • Define and track key performance indicators for the development team and use data to informed decision-making and continuous improvement. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SW, V&V, system engineering, marketing, operations and customer support, to ensure that products provided the needed solutions on time with measurable KPIs 
  • Develop methodologies and infrastructure for understanding customer technological needs, looking for technical solutions for actual business problems, algorithm development. 
  • Lead a team of technical product leaders, algorithm developer, and UI/UX designers, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure the successful development and delivery of products. 

 

 What should you have?

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. 
  • 10+ years of experience in product development, with a strong track record of developing/delivering successful products to market. 
  • Explicit experience in SW/algorithms/physics development 
  • Experienced Technical Product manager 
  • Strong understanding of vision and data technologies, and the ability to apply this knowledge to the development of innovative solutions  
  • Specific experience working on products related to machine vision, AI or BI – an advantage 
  • Experience leading and managing a team of technical professionals. 
  • Strong project management and leadership skills 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize key issues and opportunities. 
  • Ability to deep dive into new subject matters 
  • Experience in the printing industry is a plus.
