Reports to: Technical Product Manager 

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom 

What will you do? 

  • Documentation of new features in articles 
  • Develop & implement videos and Academy courses on new and existing platform features 
  • Curating and managing updates to previous documentation 
  • Testing and learning how new features work to enable them to be accurately documented 
  • Assisting with internal staff training on new features 
  • Creating screencasts with voiceover 
  • Identify & work with subject matter experts to assess training gaps and needs and build training programs to ensure maximum training results. 
  • Maintain expert knowledge of training programs and systems used. 
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions to ensure knowledge is learned by identified timelines. 
  • Confer with management/HR to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training 
  • Design, manage, implement, facilitate, and evaluate documentation standards across the team. 
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with all relevant business partners. 
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and professionalism when experiencing change in work tasks and/or the work environment. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Previous content creation experience in Learning Platforms (Thinkific specifically would be a benefit) 
  • Experience in video editing 
  • Technical Documentation experience would be a benefit 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. 
  • Proficiency with technology and systems; ability to quickly learn new systems and processes and effectively train these items to adult learners. 
  • Training program development based on needs assessment results or identified service opportunity. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project). 
  • Experience in leveraging virtual training technologies; (Thinkific or similar)
