The Logistics Specialist will maintain the cross-functional duties in the operations department for KDAM, coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, prepares machine and disposal orders for shipments, handle international shipping, and organize transportation invoices. The Logistics Lead will report directly to the Director of Operations.

This role includes up to 10% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide logistics assistance and coordination to all KDAM departments including all the shipments of the equipment and parts from our warehouses to show or customers

• Provide effective communication with the internal department to plan the shipment and installation

• Track all types of incoming shipments from KDIL to our warehouse, send relevant ASN’s making sure Inv (Qty/ SKU’s) was inbound correctly and all systems are updated.

• Negotiating and contracting services/vendors including set up in Priority, coding invoices, and monitoring A/P

• Providing Logistics support to Marketing for shows, arranging transportation and warehousing, issuing SO/PO/CSU 

• Documentation and handle the smooth process of transportation for Importation & Exportation

• Trucking, temporary warehousing, local crates, Vapor Barrier Packaging & Crating, forklift rental, customs broker, freight forwarding. Issue PO for each service, process/code each vendor’s invoice linking to the correct PO, Coordinating with Service Dept requirements for deliveries, removals (disposal), and any special projects

• Providing POD to A/P for invoicing & OM

• Tracking and preparing intercompany chargeback for freight and purchases in the USA

• Updating the weekly shipment report for Service/Engineers and the system’s report for OM

• Responsible for filing claims for service contracted and freight shipments from headquarters

• Responsible for the trade-in/ swap process of systems including overseeing the process

• Updating HQ of any changes in customs compliance including changes on HS Codes and tariff rates

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of related experience

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Team player & thinking out of the box.

• Driven leader and highly dedicated

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to engage with colleagues and key decision-makers in a positive and collaborative manner.

• Very organized and dedicated person.
