Finance Controller (f/m/d)


The Controller will join the finance team and will manage financial and accounting aspects of Kornit Digital Europe.

An appropriate candidate will demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp the business, execute financial and accounting processes and provide on-time accurate financial and managerial reports.


Location          Düsseldorf, Germany

Reports to        Director of Finance EMEA

What will you do?


  • Manage period-end close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Management of bookkeeping team, including day to day activities
  • Managing and optimizing the region’s financial closing process accurately and efficiently
  • Leading implementation and development of new procedures to improve the data workflow in finance operation and oversee all accounts and ledgers
  • Preparation of month-end, quarterly and annual reports and relative supporting WPs
  • Statutory and legal submissions (Taxes, VAT, Custom and Duties, etc).
  • Working with external audit team along quarterly reviews and annual audits resulting in successful completion
  • Design an appropriate financial control framework including SOX
  • Manage and control the budget of the region

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting & CPA or equivalent (Wirtschaftsprüfer)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an international accounting firm or global high-tech companies
  • Experience in managing a small team
  • Knowledge and solid understanding of IFRS requirements
  • Adapt to changing environment and new challenges while maintaining control and quality
  • Drive and enthusiasm to ensure team succeeds in achieving fixed and demanding deadlines
  • Team player with excellent communication and people skills  
  • Fluent in German and good level of English, advantage to other languages like Polish could be a plus
  • Strong writing and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong MS Excel familiarity
