Pre – Sales Application Engineer (f/m/d)

Based in Düsseldorf, Office

Reports to: Customer Experience Center Manager

Your responsibilities:

  • Providing superb quality printing samples for potential customers
  • Continuous know-how development about Kornit’s systems and solutions through periodical training on systems evolution and upon release of new systems
  • Present and explain Kornit systems to potential prospects and existing customers (“Demo”)
  • Maintain and optimize the Kornit systems in the Customer Experience Center
  • Document and report the work progress using Salesforce
  • Support Trade Shows and Marketing Events activities by operating systems and printing garments
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Experience Center by organizing storage, deal with logistics, keep track of usage and maintain documentation for garments, consumables, miscellaneous and uptime kits (UTKs) of all the systems, including utilities


Your expertise:   

  • 3+ years as industrial printing systems operator and/or maintenance technician
  • Ability to perform quality inspections on printed artifacts, detect anomalies in a printing process and apply short- and long-term countermeasures
  • Color management and RIP software experience
  • Experience in textile printing industry and graphical design will be consider as a plus
  • Resilient, hands-on, able to fulfill small physical tasks (loading, unloading, lifting, moving) with and without aids
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Fluency in English is a must, preferred proficiency in German, any other language will be considered a plus
