The manufacturer engineer is responsible for all engineering activities in production floor. The manufacturer engineer will work within the engineering team and will be responsible to provide all operational deliverables that required for smooth and safe production workflow.

 

The manufacturer engineer is recognized as a key manufacturing quality leader within the organization. Interface with global counterparts to achieve ops KPI’s and integrate overall operational activities throughout product manufacture life cycle. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

•      Responsible of all production process to be performed safely and properly by the CM. Ensure design for manufacturing guidelines are well implemented in new changes and act to secure smooth production. Work continuously to reduce production cycle time.

•      First level escalation for all production related issues

•     Responsible for product production quality – Analyze production defects and act to reduce them. Conduct quality meetings with the CM and lead all technical related issues emerge from production

•      Be responsible for system continues improvements plan by conducting ECO’s and manage product tree. Manage product changes and execution through CCB forum. Responsible to maintain and Improve production documentation, BOM, jigs and tools – production wish

•      Strive to product cost reduction– Provide technical opportunities for CR, lead CR activity from idea stage through qualification till implementation, work closely with purchasing department to find and qualify new parts

•      Responsible for UG kits definitions, packing and shipments – Act to reduce kits failures during upgrades

•      Reproduce and analyze failures on returned products, define corrective actions and follow-up on implementation. Define and manage the overall RMA and MRB process on a periodical basis

Education, Skills and Experience


·        BSc degree in Mechanical/Industry engineering- mandatory.

·        Minimum 3 years of proven experience in engineering/ manufacturing environment.

·        Proven experience in leading quality activities and product engineering changes in High-tech production company-Must!

·        Proven experience and knowledge in the field of manufacturing technologies (multi-disciplinary)

·        Experience in cost reduction technology activities – plastic molding, extrusion, casting etc.- advantage

·        Previous experience in leading quality culture and methodology

·        Project management skills, ability to work and manage activities in matrix

·        Familiar with printing industry or other multidisciplinary systems – an advantage

·        Excellent interpersonal skills, high motivation, ability to work under pressure

·        High skills in Hebrew and English, speaking and writing

·        Experience in PDM/ EPDM tools – Priority - an advantage
