Reports to: Global Planning Manager

Location: Afek Industrial Park, Rosh Ha’ayin

Monitor and control the progress of NPI – material availability, logistics coordination etc.

Report progress and discrepancies to project leaders

Attend and organize relevant meetings and reviews at department level to synchronize processes, KPIs, reporting etc.

Plan and report on the availability of technical documentation with technical departments (R&D, Engineering, etc.)

Manage delivery schedule of prototype materials, including order release, confirmation and expediting

Initiate and coordinate activities of Logistics, Procurement and Engineering groups to resolve late prototype deliveries

Define planning parameters in the ERP system to allow a smooth planning process (MRP for example)

Provide the impact and effect of engineering Change Requests from development and determine necessary actions

Challenge the project team to minimize impact of changes on Supply Chain, Production or Field Service

What will you do?

  •  Responsibility for NPI products (both for production and field service) planning and supervision in the Planning departments, from the initial steps of a project to order entry to delivery
  • Build a work plan for the department after coordinating between the various departments (R&D, Service, Production, Engineering).
  •  Follow up on and update product ECOs and their effect on availability and progress.
  • Synchronize between the different needs of Production, Field Services and Purchasing.
  •  Work with several different interfaces within the company – R&D, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering etc.
  •  Plan department report – NPI progress, parts availability at global level etc.

 

What should you have?

  • At least three years of experience planning and supervising NPI processes as part of the supply chain in a similar position
  •  Experience building departmental work plans
  • Knowledge and understanding in reading electrical and mechanical drawings - an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Economics / Industrial Engineering
  • Experience working with ERP system and very good understanding of planning processes
  • Excellent English
  •  Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  •  Strong team player capabilities
  •  Strong capabilities working in a matrix organization.
