This position will be both a business partner to the regional president and responsible for the financial and internal control management of the region, for supervision of regional IT as well as acting as a key contributor to the region’s commercial strategy and execution. The FD will define the processes and implement the infrastructure/systems needed to support growth over the next 3 to 5 years and support the design of new business models to drive that growth. In particular, the FD is responsible for the successful implementation and adoption of the Oracle ERP (go-live January 1, 2023). S/he will continue to build and manage effective and streamlined administrative/financial systems and staff, including financial, accounting and internal control. Business DevelopmentServe as a business partner to the regional head on strategic, financial, commercial, and administrative matters and processesCapable of handling strategic and complex negotiations with government agencies, partners and customersDevelop and implement cost saving initiatives and insure efficient and effective use of company resourcesKey interface with commercial and operations teams – monitor KPIs and support achievement of financial and working capital targets (including S&OP)ManagementProven capability to take a leadership stance in an executive environmentManage and mentor staffHire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively. Required Education and Experience:Experience as an FD in a mid-sized company for at least 5 years, or as senior finance manager/director in large global for at least 7 years with broad-based responsibility (including accounting, costing, budgeting/analysis, treasury, financing and negotiation).
