Location: Afek Industrial Park, Rosh Ha’ayin

Reports to: R&D Program Manager

Responsible to lead the integration of complex multidisciplinary systems for Kornit digital industrial printers. define and customize technologies to address the printers’ needs. Take part in the development of systems (mechanics, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, control, software, chemistry, etc.)

What will you do?

  • Owner of complex system sub system integration- E2E- More than one major focus area
  • Define tests, DOE for complex experiments, execute and analyze results, suggest solutions 
  • Address complex system level problems. Characterizing the problem and solving it.
  • Collaborate with system eng. and define sub system PBIs in his area of expertise
  • Matrix guidance & feedback especially from the practical functionality side 
  • Hold the practical knowledge of sub-system, structures and mode of operation including the SW interface, logics and the relevant electronic schemas.
  • For a specific sub system, participate in (R&D/engineering) reviews or to address any integration issue
  • Disassemble or assemble and calibrate any sub-system or any system function related parts excluding electrical cabinet.
  • Set jigs, sub system. including planning and execution of the setup. complex setup may include autonomous control and data log ability.
  • Support preventive maintenance routines upon need
  • Hold the responsibility to specific R&D lab areas, e.g. tools or inventory
  • Support NPI activities and Kornit shows abroad
  • Support departments of customer service, operations, marketing, purchasing, etc.


What should you have?

  • B.Sc. in either Mechanical / Chemistry / Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience as team lead– an advantage
  • Familiar with motion technologies and their components
  • Familiar with ink delivery systems - an advantage
  • Experience with digital printing machines - an advantage
  • Self-motivated, creative and innovative
  • Team player with Excellent communication skills
  • High learning and development ability, wide systemic vision, ability to work          
  • Independently with can-do attitude
