Location: Ink Plant in Kiryat-Gat

Reports to: Chemisry Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for the process design, operation and implementation. The successful candidate will improve industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.


What will you do?

  • Develop, implement, monitor and maintain efficient manufacturing processes and workflow for plant products.
  •  Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • Provide manufacturing data i.e. production control charts, reliability, process capability, to improve the process and monitor and measure progress to target.
  •  Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through start up and certification
  • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
  • Improve continually existing operation, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings
  • Investigate operational problems affecting production and reporting and recommending solutions
  • Manage manufacturing documentation required for product manufacturing i.e. revise drawing, BOM, accurate work instructions and workmanship standards and process procedures
  • Identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendations – i.e. new process equipment, equipment justification to improve performance
  • Train and supervise staff on new development processes and technology. Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
  • Establishment of product portfolios including drawings, process definition and specifications.
  • Development and construction of various projects in various fields from the planning stage to the ongoing operations.


What should you have?

  • 2-3 years experience in the production plant.
  •  B.Sc in Chemistry/Materials/ Biotechnology Engineering – mandatory. M.Sc – an advantage.
  • Proven track record and working knowledge in manufacturing industry.
  •  Experience in field operation, process design & engineering, knowledge of process engineering calculations. 
  • Experience in leading projects.
  •  Knowledge and experience in managing schedules, budgets and risk assessment
  • Requires good written and spoken English
  • Demonstrated examples of ownership over your work and the ability to influence others.
  • Proven experience as process engineer
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Good knowledge in lean Manufacturing, six sigma and ISO methodology
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity
  • Great analytical skills
